Southwest Greens has recently celebrated 15 years in the EMEA region — a milestone we are proud of. Starting out as a “cowboy” by appropriating a synthetic soccer turf and labeling it a tee box to designed solutions that play and look authentic — a lot has evolved.
At Southwest Greens, we start developing with the end result in mind. We strive to develop artificial putting green turf that has the same appearance of traditional turf. The behavior we are talking about is in terms of ball behavior — more particularly — bounce, aim, and roll.
Bounce, aim, and roll speaks of the underlying technology behind our artificial putting green turf products. We call this project “Science Behind The Surface,” and we examine our artificial system against genuine grass via a playability assessment tool.
