PRACTICE LIKE THE PROS
Southwest Greens of Illinois is a recognized leader in the design, installation, and sale of easy-care, championship-grade synthetic golf greens. Our backyard putting greens have won the confidence of tour golfers including Vijay Singh, Rickie Fowler, Sam Burns, Jim Furyk, Fred Funk, and Hale Irwin, who have chosen custom Southwest Greens installations for use at home.
ENGINEERED FOR YOUR HOME, DESIGNED FOR YOUR GAME
A Naperville home putting green only justifies its place in your landscape if it rolls like the genuine article. Every Naperville backyard putting green we construct starts with a site assessment of your property, your terrain, and how you plan to use it, whether that's grooved practice on a single hole or a complete short-game setup with break, undulation, and multiple cup positions. The turf systems we install are engineered specifically for true ball roll and consistent speed, not merely a green-colored surface. Envision your own controlled shot zones, tee boxes, and greenside bunkers, all scaled to fit your property.
LESS WORK, MORE PLAY
The upkeep gap between a synthetic backyard putting green and a natural one is significant. There's no watering routine, no fertilizer, no chemical treatments, and no mower to manage. An occasional debris clearing and brushing is often all it takes to maintain the surface playing consistently, which means more time on practice and less time on maintenance. It also stays playable in weather that would keep a natural green sidelined.
BUILT TO LAST, BUILT TO ADD VALUE
A thoughtfully built home putting green does double duty: it's a feature you play on constantly and one that boosts your property's appeal. That comes down to what happens below the surface as much as above it, our base work, drainage, cut positioning, and elevation planning are what keep a green playing years in. This is also the point where a backyard putting green stops being a standalone feature. We can carry the same synthetic turf into a adjoining Naperville artificial turf sports area, surrounding lawn, or bocce court, all part of one design and installation plan tailored to your property.
